Noryl®
American Made Plastic Sheets and Rods
PPO – Modified PolyPhenyleneOxide
*
Why use Noryl-PPO:
- it has Excellent Electrical Properties
- has Excellent Fire Retardant Rating
- has Extremely Low Water Absorption
- is Vacuum Formable, Machinable and Bondable
- has Good Temperature Resistance
*This materials is…
a strong engineering plastics with excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. On of the lowest moisture absorption materials, with very low thermal expansion.
- Excellent Machining To Tight Tolerances
- Very Low Moisture Absorption
- Dimensionally stable and Low Thermal Expansion
- High Continuous Temperature – 185ºF & 265ºF
- Excellent FR Rating – UL 94 V-1 @ .058″ thick
This material is used frequently in fluid handling applications due to the very low moisture absorption. Great for electrical applications requiring high dielectric strength. This is a trade name of Sabic Plastics (formerly GE Plastics).
